THE QUALITY OF WORKING LIFE: A NEW MISSION FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN EDUCATION
Abstract
Improving the quality of working life (QWL) is an essential part of the search for alternative organizational patterns. This article reviews the fotndations of the quality of working life and describes the philosophy which underlies this new approach. It is argued that quality of working life is applicable to some extent to education. RÉSUMÉ L'amélioration de la qualité de la vie au travail est un des éléments essentiels de la quête de modes organisationnels nouveaux. Cet article examine les fondements de la qualité de la vie au travail et décrit les principes qui sous-tendent cette nouvelle approche. D'aucuns affirment que la qualité de la vie au travail s'applique dans une certaine mesure à l'éducation.Downloads
