FEELINGS OF COMPUTER SELF-EFFICACY IN HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS IN NIGER
This article examines feelings of computer self-efficacy in lycée (high school) teachers. The relevance of this study derives from the potential for ICT to improve the quality of education. However, teachers’ lack of skills hinders the pedagogical integration of ICT. A questionnaire was administered to 69 teachers to assess feelings of self-efficacy in using word processing software and other technological tools. Quantitative analysis based on an adapted Computer Self-Efficacy Scale revealed differences in perceived technical skills between teachers who were and were not trained in the use of ICT.
