POUR LA PROFESSION ENSEIGNANTE. QUEL IDÉAL DE SERVICE?
Abstract
WHAT IS THE IDEAL OF SERVICE FOR THE TEACHING PROFESSION? ABSTRACT. This article proposes a model of teaching as a professional activity characterized by the service it provides for the student in his or her development as a moral person. The first section analyses the ethical bases of three twentieth-century models of the profession: the social model, the therapy model and the business model. The second section proposes a professional model centered on the person. This article answers a fundamental question: what ideal of service or set of ethics is appropriate for the teaching profession?Downloads
