Abstract

Most archivists restrict themselves to writing about their collected "treasures." This one suggests that those participating in an important activity have an obligation to document that activity in both written and pictorial form.

John Andreassen, McGill University

John Andreassen, McGill University Archivist, has studied at Stout Institute, the University of Wisconsin, Ph.D, Tulane University, and Louisiana State University, M.A. He has held many positions in educational, library, archival and administrative fields.
