DELIBERATIVE CURRICULUM THEORY: A CALL FOR ACTION
Abstract
The paper argues that deliberative curriculum theorists have committed what Schwab has called the "flight upward from the field." In this they have conceptualized about curriculum deliberation rather than grounded their discussions in its practical aspects. This paper reviews both conceptual and empirical work in order to propose a research agendum grounded in the practical world of curriculum development. Downloads
