ENSEIGNEMENTS DES DROITS DE LA PERSONNE ET JUGEMENT MORAL
Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine whether there is a correlation between the degree of moral judgment and the desirability of teaching human rights as set out in the Universal Declaration of the United Nations. Using the semi-structured interview method of moral dilemmas developped by Kohlberg as well as a questionnaire on knowledge and attitudes, the authors have questionned 42 French speaking teachers and administrators (CEGEP and University) and 28 whose mother tongue was English. The results show positive attitudes towards teaching human rights from respondents and in general, a conventional degree of moral judgment. Downloads
